Pack of 4 random individual MREs. 2024 Inspection Dated, real military food rations. The manufacturer of the MREs will be Sopako, Wornick, or Ameriqual. Please be aware that these items are made for military combatants. From case to case and from what is showed in images, contents may differ. Manufacturers routinely adjust meal numbers or entrees and substitute items. Flameless ration heaters will not be served with every meal. Every now and again, confectionery that is not mil-spec will be wrapped but will not have the same shelf life. Please check and carefully read all expiration dates on confectionary items that are not milspec. Each meal contains about 1250 calories. Meals feature a range of vegetarian, traditional, Asian, Mexican, and other international cuisines. It will also include a wide range of desserts, snacks, coffee, and milk. Only military MREs come with an accessory pack that contains toilet paper, matches, flavorings, and other survival necessities. MREs don't expire, although the manufacturers advise that, when kept at room temperature, the meal components should last for at least five years. MREs have a date for inspection and a date for when it was packed. The Military inspects the cases during long-term storage to ensure they are still fit for consumption on the Inspection date, which is three years after the Pack date.
