- STOMP ON TRADITIONAL AND BOUTIQUE EFFECTS: The Zoom G1X FOUR comes with more than 70 traditional and boutique effects. Give it a polished sheen with a chorus, phaser or something more esoteric like a pitch-shifting delay or a sitar simulation. There are also 13 classic amplifier and cabinet models onboard covering everything from squeaky-clean tranquility to high-gain anarchy. Use five effects simultaneously and when everything is dialed in you can save up to 50 user-created patches.
- GET INSPIRED WITH 68 BUILT-IN DRUM PATTERNS: Metronomes are great for keeping time, but they’re not very inspiring. That’s why the G1X FOUR includes 68 built-in drum patterns. These great-sounding rhythms give you plenty to jam along to, boasting multiple time signatures 4/4, 3/4, and more. When we ran the G1X FOUR through its paces, we found the built-in rhythm patterns to be one of our favorite features they’re a lot of fun.
- CRAFT MULTI-PART ARRANGEMENTS WITH A 30-SECOND LOOPER: Built-in drum patterns are great for keeping the beat, but they don’t do much for harmonic context when you’re practicing. But thanks to the Zoom G1X FOUR’s onboard looper, you can lay down a chord progression, loop it, then play over it. You can record and loop up to 30 seconds of CD-quality audio. And don’t think that the usefulness of the G1X FOUR’s looper is limited to practice sessions it’s an awesome performance tool too.
- PEDAL: The pedal sports over 70 different effects, and you can edit or add more effects from your computer too. Simply hook the pedal up to your Mac or Windows machine over a USB cable and add effects from Zoom's Guitar Lab software.

Zoom G1X Four is a multi-effects processor designed for use with electric guitars giving you an included expression pedal to provide continuously variable control over certain effects. Offered in an easy to use stompbox format the G1X Four sports a wide selection of processes and other features, such as an onboard 30-second looper and a chromatic tuner. With 68 built-in rhythm patterns you can add drum loops to the mix. Distortion, chorus and more are all on hand, as are 13-amp models that simulate classic combinations. Some effects benefit from the use of an expression pedal, so you can change the effect's amount in a smooth gradual way. You can tweak the pedal's operation in the digital realm through the G1X Four's display screen.
