Rouge Saray actually existed for a long time – in the imagination of Jean-Phillipe Clermont! Years ago, the founder of Atelier des Ors made exciting trips to the Middle East. The wonderful landscapes and sensory impressions, the people and the great hospitality that he experienced in this part of the world let a unique fragrance ripen in his mind: Rouge Sarây. The “Rouge” in the name of the perfume reflects the sand dunes of Wadi Rum caressed by the setting sun, the ochre-coloured rocks of the Temple of Petra – and, last but not least, the amber colour of the date fruit. That delicious fruit, which is also a symbol of hospitality, wealth and generosity, is the shining heart of Rouge Sarây. Its fruity aromas are refined by notes of sweet vanilla and heliotrope – and highlighted by fine sandalwood, sensual Peru balsam and smoky guaiac wood.
