This softener is in a solid bar form and is easy and not messy to use! Simply pull off a little piece of the oven bake clay softener and add it to your firm clay. Mix together using your hands or a pasta machine. Keep adding a little of the oven bake clay softener at a time until your desired softness is achieved. The oven bake clay softener will not dry out so you can keep using it and it will stay soft. The softener doesn't have a lot of pigment in it so that it will not change the color of the firm clay you are adding it to. Non Toxic and safe - Sculpey oven bake clay softener conforms to ASTM D-4236 and EN 71 safety standards, it is non-toxic and safe to use in your home oven. Simply mix into your firm polymer oven bake clay. make your creation and bake in your home or toaster oven at 275 °F for about 15-30 minutes depending on the size of your creation. You have to bake this adhesive for it to work.
