It gives you the flexibility to keep your water supply insulated and secure in your pack or wear it as a pack with room for gear and snacks for a day hike. This hydration pack is built with a Crux reservoir that’s easier to load and refill and delivers 20% more water per sip. It also features an ergonomic handle for easier refilling and an on/off lever to prevent leaks. While the Arête 22 was developed for convenient day backpacking trips, it has plenty of storage space. Simply flip this hiking backpack right side out and you’ll have plenty of room for essentials including warm layers, a headlamp for those early morning or late evening adventures, extra food, and of course, a trail map. On the inside of this hydration pack you’ll find an ample 2-liter reservoir that will keep your water cool and contained. For added comfort, we’ve included an adjustable sternum strap, a removable stability belt for a close, comfortable fit, and a lightweight back panel to give the bag a little more structure. We’ve also added zippered compartments on the lid and the side of the pack so you can keep your gear sorted.
