These actuator assemblies are manufactured using downsized drive units that are contained in the rear pillar of the vehicle, a space saving feature. AISIN Power Back Door/Liftgate Actuators feature an auto-reverse safety function, if they are obstructed during operation they will automatically reverse direction. These units allow for both manual and power operation. AISIN Power Back Door/Liftgate Actuators are sold as complete assemblies for easy installation.
