Allows to quickly and easily change; save time for filtered planetary and lunar observation using different color filters or for tricolor astrophotography; install all filters and then dial in filter want to use for particular astrophotographic exposure
Robust constructed filter wheel is supplied with a 1.25 inch eyepiece adaptor and1.25 inch nosepiece and T2 camera adaptor and locking ring; be attached to telescope either by 1.25 inch nosepiece or T-thread; suitable for visual and astrophotography
Features a helpful number system that allows to quickly place filter into light path; simply note reference number of each filter during installation; then rotate knurled wheel until desired number is displayed in small notch of filter wheel housing
Notice use of Filter Wheel require 23mm of inward focus travel; this will not be problem for most telescope design but could be problem for Newtonian reflector; included T2 adapter come with lock ring so high-precision distance regulation becomes possible
Remember leave filter installed in the wheel for avoiding dust and be sure to attach dustcaps prior to storing with use accessory case; box also acts as a convenient storage container: simply unthread nosepiece from wheel and place them together in case
