The EVA insole kicks off the cushioning without adding weight to the shoe, but it's the midsole that really helps the Kilowatt shine a little brighter. A full-length layer of Pebax serves to stabilize your heel and footstrike while standing guard against roots and rocks and crumbling concrete underneath your toes. EVA cushions and disperses the impact of your landings while bouncing back to keep you bopping along. Vibram rubber on the bottom has a few lugs for good luck and lots of little lines to stay pliable over the long haul.
