The Orient Star RE-AT0017L, a model of the Contemporary series, is a limited edition watch designed for both everyday wear and formal occasions. Inspired by the dawn and the fresh hues of a new day, the striking blue dial captures the beauty of a morning sky and sea illuminated by the rising sun. The colour gradation, transitioning from turquoise blue to green, mirrors the ever-changing tones of the sky and sea at sunrise. This special design extends to three unique models, each featuring a sunburst effect on the blue dial, complemented by hands, and indices of rose gold symbolizing the morning sun. This model is equipped with a stainless steel bracelet and comes with an additional calfskin leather strap. The stainless steel case of the Orient RE-AT0017L00B houses the Orient F6F42 mechanical movement, boasting automatic winding and a 50-hour power reserve. Notable features include a hacking mechanism, a winding reserve indicator at 12 o'clock, and an exposed flywheel at 9 o'clock, known as the "open heart." The movement, visible through the transparent caseback, operates at a frequency of 21,600 semi-frequencies/hour. Protected by a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, the clear blue dial features embossed indices, dauphine hands, and luminescent elements for enhanced visibility in low light. With a water resistance of 100 meters, the watch is suitable for showering and swimming. The timepiece, measuring 39.3 mm in diameter, caters to those seeking a more compact size. Limited to 850 pieces, this special edition comes in a distinctive package that includes an extra leather strap, adding a touch of exclusivity to this meticulously crafted timepiece.
