This width is ideal for rolling large amounts of drywall compound onto flat surfaces prior to final finishing with a skimming blade. PRO TIP: Before using your new drywall compound roller for the first time, “prime” the roller cover by wrapping painter’s tape around its entire surface and then peeling it off. This will remove any loose fibers or bits of roller nap that may not have been securely attached during manufacturing. ABOUT LEVEL5 COMPOUND ROLLERS LEVEL5 Compound Rollers available in 4” (#4-005), 9” (#4-905) and 12” (#4-906) lengths for applying compound to flat surfaces. A specialized 2” inside corner roller (#4-006) is also available. Replacement roller covers for all variants are available in singles and three packs.
