This SC male type to LC female type multimode 62.5/125 hybrid fiber optic adapter is of a special style that makes a precise connection of different types of fiber optic connectors. It is designed to flawlessly plug in your LC patch cord into an SC socket, thus eliminating the need to change the fiber optic patch cord, which in most cases is not possible or there is no equipment for. It contains a specially designed interconnecting sleeve that holds the two ferrules together. The sleeve can be adjusted with precise equipment to ensure close connection so that almost no insertion loss will be introduced into the fiber link.
