The MultiScanner A250c is Zircon’s newest electronic stud finder, metal detector and live AC scanner with a multicolor LCD screen that is sold exclusively on Amazon. The A250c is designed with a smooth, ergonomic rubber grip allowing for a comfortable yet secure hold for any size hand, at any angle. This multifunctional surface scanner uses the most recent technology in density detecting software and circuitry. The Zircon A250c has a 4-mode selector switch making it easy to change functions while the advanced Color Trip Display allows you to easily distinguish the scanning mode by the color of the screen. The ultra-bright LCD screen, patented SpotLite Pointing System, and audio tone all indicate the location of the target. The A250c is programmed with a Wire Warning Detection feature that indicates the presence of live, unshielded electrical wires up to 2 inches (50 mm) deep when using StudScan, DeepScan and Metal Scan Mode. When live wiring is detected in these three modes, the screen will light, or flash, red. In addition to Wire Warning Detection, the A250c also includes AC Scan Mode that is distinguished by a constant red display. This mode detects, locates, maps, and traces live wires.
