The Powerstep IT Knee Band provides targeted compression over the Iliotibial Band to help alleviate pain and discomfort on the lateral (outer) side of the leg, just above the knee. The cushioning gel pad targets the inflammation and pain associated with Iliotibial Band Syndrome (ITBS). Soft materials and a fully adjustable strap allow for comfortable wear. Universal size fits knee circumference up to 19", measured just above knee. X-Large fits 19"+. Wearing/Fitting Directions: Unfasten strap closure. Position the compression pad on the outside of the leg, just above the knee. Wrap strap around leg and secure. Be sure not to pull so tight as to restrict circulation. The Iliotibial knee band should provide a comfortable amount of compression and should not feel restrictive. Not to be used during sleep. Use as needed for increased comfort and support.
