This Kitchen aid mandolin slicer with its razor sharp stainless steel blades, makes quick work of repetitive, time-consuming tasks, such as making paper-thin cucumber slices and julienned carrots. This slicer features a stainless steel slicing table with ribbed detailing to ensure food will easily slides off. Housed in durable, thick plastic, the slicer's body features an oversized handle with a non-slip grip for stable slicing. Included are two slicing cartridges, a v-shaped slicing blade for straight cuts and a 3/16" julienne blade for thin, long strips. Each blade is crafted from durable, cutlery-grade stainless steel and is resistant to rusting. This mandolin slicer has 5 different cutting thicknesses, 1/16-inch, 1/8-Inch, 3/16-Inch, 1/4-Inch and 5/16-inch, perfect for slicing an endless amount of fruits and vegetables. Also included is an oversized food pusher that features stainless steel gripping teeth, an easy-to use plunger to attach food and wide trench to protect your fingers and hands while slicing. The base of the slicer features non-slip free to keep the slicer from moving while slicing. The large, rear leg folds and all components store under the table for compact storage. Simple fold the leg under, turn the slicer upside down and arrange the julienne slicer and food pusher in there respective places. All components are top-rack dishwasher safe, except for the storage case and blade cover which should be washed by hand.
