VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY - Compatible with cars and light trucks model year since 1996 in the US and since 1998 in Canada (for generic OBD II functions). For PHEVs & EVs, please use Car Scanner ELM OBD2 App to check if there is a suitable profile (limited to battery system data reading; not all EVs are supported).
Advanced diagnostics (ABS, SRS, TPMS, etc.) and extended data (like transmission temperature) are only available for some makes/models via specific apps (usually not free for advanced diagnostics). Note: All kinds of service reset including oil light, relearning, adaptation, coding and other advanced functions are NOT supported.
