With its advanced design, materials and comfort, the Socorro is the ultimate fish fighting belt for big game fishing. The super-thick, closed-cell EVA foam back pad is engineered to maximize comfort and leverage; positioned relatively low across the thighs, the load is distributed evenly for maximum pull when fighting big fish stand-up style. A new feature is a velcro waistband for quickly getting into or out of the belt. Also featured is a super strong, molded glass-filled nylon gimbal pocket engineered to quickly guide rod butts into an optimum fish-fighting position. The gimbal pocket's stainless steel pin is adjustable for horizontal or vertical orientation. The Socorro belt measures 15.5 inches wide by 10 inches tall, and it floats! The Socorro is a perfect match for the the AFTCO MaxForce Harnesses. The MaxForce is the ultimate in fishing harness design and matches up well with these fighting belts. The combination of lumbar and sit-in pads distributes the load below the hips, allowing the lower body to exert maximum pulling leverage with superb comfort under heavy drag loads. Featured is super-comfort molded, closed-cell EVA foam padding, with a tough, waterproof lycra polyester cover. The liner is made from synthetic terry cloth, which not only wicks moisture, but keeps the harness from slipping around and chafing. Included is a mesh bag with grommets for rinsing with fresh water and easy storage. Adjustable, one size fits most, and the perfect match for 30 to 130-lb. tackle. Drop Straps for AFTCO fighting belts and fishing harnesses can be adapted to any fishing belt or fighting harness. "Quick Clips" attach to posts at each side of the Belt. Swivel snap-clips then attach to D-rings on any stand-up harness. Also included are optional swivel snap-clips so the straps will fit any belt. Drop Straps are adjustable to customize the position of fighting belts on the thigh for maximum leverage.
