- These sockets are for making your own pendant lights. They should be used with round cable for the best result. There is a set screw in the neck to screw into the round cable and keep tension off of the wire connection screws. It's simple to use these. Slip the upper collar onto the wire and then strip off enough wire to connect to the screw posts. The screws are combination standard flat head and Phillips head. Any screwdriver will do. Once you snap the top and bottom halves together, with some force, the pendant is ready to wire into a power source. This are TOP NOTCH light sockets. ~ Superior construction.
