- The Core Distro Plate from Alphacool with VPP Apex Pump should not be missing in any Custom water cooling system. It considerably simplifies the construction, planning and maintenance of complex water circuits and thanks to the pre-assembled VPP Apex, no additional pump assembly is required. The pump The Apex VPP pump from Alphacool does without a spherical bearing and uses a ceramic axis instead. The coils of the motor have been moved from the inside out to make the pump more stable and smooth-running and to significantly reduce the vibrations that occur. Another positive side effect is that the power consumption could be almost halved. Control The Apex VPP pump has a 4-pin fan connector that connects to the motherboard or to an external controller. This allows the speed range of the pump to be controlled and read out via PWM. The pump is powered using a SATA connector on the power supply.
