- Plastic access panels are installed at the initial or final stage of construction or renovation of both residential and commercial premises. It all depends on the wall decoration and design. To cut around your outline, you can push the jab saw through the existing drywall or create starter holes with a drill. 3. Sanding – Once, you’ve cut the holes, it’s important to sand the edges. This will ensure your frame fits securely in the hole. 4. Anchoring the Frame – Use adhesive or silicone ( adhesive or silicone prepare by yourself ) for tight frame to complete installation.
