- With the candelabra socket E-12, you can adjust overall height from 3-4/5 to 5-1/5 inches by using the set screws on the bracket. Brass and silver wire screws make it easy to properly add a cord to the socket. Installation: They are easy to install. Just disconnect the wires from the old socket and unscrew it then thread the wires through the threaded hole in the base of the new socket an screw it into the lamp.Reattach the wires finally.(As you connect it into power AC110V,you don't need to differentiate the silver and brass screw.) The socket are adjustable,it is adaptable the threaded stems on chandelier which are varying in height or accommodate a variety of light fixtures.
