The shape is reminiscent of master detective Sherlock Holmes' piece depicted in the classic British show. It is constructed with high-quality, genuine Mediterranean Briar wood that is dried for two complete season cycles to harden as much as possible. Briarwood is the densest wood on the market, making it the best wood for crafting pipes and providing excellent insulation. A semi-gloss finish shows off the wood's grain to perfection. The Consul smokes excellent and has a smooth, soft draw. Its compact bowl fits nicely for a comfortable grip while looking sexy and sharp. The close 5.75-inch length lets this pipe tuck easily in a pocket or drawer. It comes in a gift box with a soft protective pipe bag which can also double as a cleaning cloth.
