Validation against NASA/JPL Horizons benchmarks demonstrates agreement within $\pm 2$ meters for major planets over a 50-year span and sub-kilometer accuracy for perturbed asteroid trajectories. Beyond propagation, AstDyn provides tools for differential correction, covariance analysis, and the processing of optical astrometry.
