Sobre este producto
  • Family is one of the most important pillars of our society. Through family, values are forged, bonds of support are created, and one of the most significant feelings—love—is nurtured. This year, Popular invites us to experience its new musical production through a family who welcomes us into their home to witness, through their experiences, musical stories from the past that have, in some way, shaped who we are. The new production, Estampas de mi tierra, allows viewers to enjoy anecdotes and musical pieces that weave together this family story, captured through music. Songs like “Amor y control”, “Esto es vida”, “Mi Bandera”, “En la vida todo es ir”, among others, make this musical special a visual and auditory spectacle. “Developing this piece is important for us to continue supporting our culture, as well as those who work within it. We want to give opportunities to new talent, spark conversations about music and its impact on us, and pay tribute to those who came before and have left a mark on what we are today. We firmly believe that art and music are the living reflection of our identity, and with Estampas de mi tierra we reaffirm our commitment to preserve and highlight the best of Puerto Rico for future generations,” said Javier D. Ferrer, president and chief executive officer of Popular, Inc. This production features the talents of artists such as Olga Tañón, Genio La Musa, Young Miko, Los Pleneros de la Cresta, Roy Brown, Fiel a la Vega, Victoria Sanabria, Chuwi, El Gran Combo, Manolo Ramos, Manny Manuel, Luis Daniel, Decimanía, Anthony García (singer of El Gran Combo) together with his daughter Darianisse García, Elena, Montalvo (both young singers), Obie Bermúdez, and Janina. This musical special is under the direction of Maleja Rodríguez Rivera and Robinson Rivera. Production was led by Euskady Burgos of Cinetrix, with Lauri E. Vega as line producer. Editing was managed by Carlos Aponte alongside María Julia Dávila, who served as editing assistant. Production design was handled by Mayna Magruder, and wardrobe by Angie Olmedo. Patricia Alonso was in charge of casting. The musical direction was overseen by renowned director Luis Amed Irizarry along with associate producers José David Pérez, Antonio Caraballo, Diego Centeno, and Harold Wendell Sanders. Production was managed by Adiela Marie Arroyo, and musical coordination by Helvia Irizarry.
