Upgrade your Pit Boss pellet grill with the Meatender WiFi PID Rectangular Pellet Grill Controller—an app-enabled replacement controller that functions as the grill’s control board, thermostat control panel, and main control unit. Built for the aftermarket repair and upgrade market, it brings modern wireless control and more precise temperature management to compatible Pit Boss grills and smokers. Featuring advanced PID temperature control, the controller adjusts pellet feed and airflow to maintain steadier cooking temperatures, helping reduce fluctuations and improve consistency. The built-in real-time monitoring system checks key components such as the hot rod (igniter), auger motor, fan, RTD grill probe, and meat probe inputs, and can alert you to abnormal conditions to help avoid cook interruptions. Installation is designed to be simple: connect the color-coded wires and snap the rectangular control panel into place (confirm your original controller shape and your exact model before ordering). For cold-weather cooks, the winter/low-ambient mode allows setting ambient temperature in the app to improve stability when outdoor temperatures drop.
