With an inner diameter of 4.5", this cap fits snugly on the outside of all PVC 4" Schedule 20, Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 pipes (see image for how to measure your pipe OD). Select desired mesh screen openings from fine mesh, 1/4" mesh, 1/2" mesh, and 3/4" mesh options. Effectively block unwanted debris and pests like birds, squirrels, bees, wasps, hornets, and others while maintaining optimal airflow or water flow through your pipe. The superior one-piece construction with integral mesh eliminates reliance on glued metal screens used in alternate products offered by others. Being all-plastic, there are no corrosion concerns as with metal mesh screens used in alternative products. No need to purchase other adapters or fittings to mount this item. Installation is straightforward - the cap has a precise snug fit but can also be secured with pipe cement, if desired, though not necessary.
