The linear shower drain cover works on both sides, with stainless steel surface or recessed tile insert surface for your choice. Tile inlays are designed to create an invisible tile look for the bathroom. Tile tray has 1/2 " recess to accommodate tile and adhesive, recommend tile thickness 5/16" or less. After using for a period of time, open the Grate from both sides by using the lifting hook,take the filter mesh out to clean.
