The AC Warning Function operates seamlessly across all Scan modes, promptly alerting you to live AC voltage for enhanced safety during scanning. Calibrating our stud detector is effortless. Simply place the device on the wall surface, press the power button to activate it and hold the scan button for 2-3 seconds to calibrate. Calibration is complete when the bars decrease and a single beep is heard. Note that in Stud mode, calibration is performed with the device flat against the wall, while in Metal/AC mode, calibration is done in the air. Once calibrated, scan the wall slowly while keeping the device flat against the surface to ensure precise results. Avoid shaking or lifting the device during operation for optimal performance. During scanning, our stud sensor will indicate the center of detected objects with a maximum signal bar and a loud beep alarm. Mark this spot with a pencil and further confirm if the object is metallic by selecting the metal scan function. This process enables you to confidently identify the center of studs and other non-metallic objects inside walls.
