Unlike traditional infrared sensors, VL53L1X uses STToF technology to measure absolute distance regardless of target color and reflectivity. It is also able to program the size of the ROI on the receiving array, thereby allowing the sensor FoV to be reduced. 4. SPAD (single photon avalanche diode) receiving array with integrated lens. 5. Low-power microcontrollers run advanced digital firmware. 6. Pin compatible with VL53L0X Ranging Sensor. 7. Fast and accurate long distance measurement. 8. Typical full field of view (FoV): 27°. 9. Receive programmable ROI locations on the array to provide multi-zone operational control of the host. 10. I2C interface (up to 400 kHz), shutdown and interrupt pins.
