Codemaker can use repeated or different colors, or even leave some holes empty. Players can choose the red&blue pegs to represent themselves for scoring purposes. How to play: ① The codebreaker places 5 colored pegs in each of the rows of holes in the codebreaking zone. ② Next to the codebreaking area is the answer prompt area. The codemaker places white or black pegs to prompt the codebreaker on the matching position: -Black means that the color and position are correct. -White means that the color is correct but the position is incorrect. -Leave empty if both color and position are incorrect. At the end of a row of codebreaking testing, the codebreaker uses the information given by the codemaker in the previous row to continue to deduce the code in the next row. ③ The game can be played on two different difficulty levels: Level 1: the secret code is made up of 5 different colors, making it easier to guess. Level 2: colors in the secret code can be repeated Level 3: repeated color and a hole or two can be left empty, making it harder to guess the correct solution. The codemaker can also confuse the codebreaker by randomly placing a black prompt peg, leaving the codebreaker with no way to get started. ④ When the codebreaker breaks the code, that player places a red or blue peg representing themselves next to the number of rows in which the code was breaked. ⑤Players take turns to swap roles and the player who breaks the code fewer times wins!
