The Ven-Tex 1.0 shell material offers windproof, waterproof, and breathable protection, with a durable water-resistant (DWR) outer surface treatment that effectively repels moisture. Critical seams are sealed to prevent leaks, while the backpack-friendly Ventec 2-way zippered core vents, featuring snow blocker mesh, provide ventilation without compromising on protection. For added convenience and storage, the jacket includes zippered hand, internal, and cap pockets, as well as internal Lycra hand gaiters. Safety is enhanced with 3M Scotchlite Reflective materials, which increase visibility in low-light conditions. Designed with comfort in mind, the jacket features an adjustable, insulated, and removable hood, fleece-lined Velcro adjustable cuffs, and an internal powder skirt.
