Sobre este producto
  • First released at the end of 1976, Synare electronic drums were designed and manufactured by Star Instruments Inc. in Stafford Springs, CT. A company chaired by former members of the synthesizer company EML, the Synare P.S. (Percussion Synthesizer) was the first product released, and just the second ever commercially released drum synthesizer after the Impakt Toms a few years before. It took the company's third product - the Synare 3 individual self-contained drum synthesizer pad - for the company to achieve success, and over 15,000 Synare 3 drums would be manufactured during the company's lifetime. Other products were released for the electronic drums market over the next three years - with 30,000 Synare units sold - until the company's fortunes declined with the emergence and dominance of the Simmons SDS V electronic drum kit during the years 1981-83. Operating guides sourced from publically-released company information are provided here for the Synare 3, S3X, S4, Synare Sensor, Tympani, Lo/Hi Tom, and Bass Drum, along with guides on the use of the SM-61 Mixer and Synare 3 Sequencer. A synopsis and functional run-down of the Synare P.S. and Synare 2 are also included, along with examples of many Synare advertisements from the era 1977-1981.
