Before replacing, please disconnect the power supply of the steps.2. Disconnect several connecting plugs one after the other.3. Unscrew the 3 bolts that fix the unit with a quarter inch socket.4. Similarly, unscrew the other 2 green wires bolts with a quarter inch socket (if there is fixed silicone on the surface, please scrape it off first to make sure the surface is clean).5. Replace with a new step control unit, and tighten the bolts one by one.6. Reapply sealant if necessary.7. Connect the wires one by one.8. Reconnect power plug to the motor assembly.9. Reconnect main step power (four way connector) while staying clear of moving parts.10.
