- Introducing the Nucleus Nano II – Wireless Lens Control System The Nucleus Nano II is the ideal tool for filmmakers seeking precise lens control. The updated Hand Wheel features a Main Dial for Focus adjustments and a Control Rocker for smooth Zoom or Iris control. Its 1.6” Circular Touch Screen Display and intuitive interface make navigation easy, providing quick access to advanced functions like lens mapping and camera control. Users can wirelessly adjust camera settings via WiFi, Bluetooth, and USB-C, compatible with systems from Canon, Sony, and Black Magic Design, with the capability to control up to four motors for Focus, Iris, Zoom, and Mirage VND using the included Control Handle. The Control Handle operates with a Sony L-Series Battery (not included) and can power the Nucleus Nano II Hand Wheel for extended use. It includes a focus dial for both Nucleus and DJI Focus Motors with an optional Wireless Receiver Module (not included). The handle features a 1/4″-20 thread for mounting and a cold shoe receiver for creating a comprehensive focus pulling station. Firmware is currently compatible with the Red Komodo, BMPCC 6K, 6K Pro, and partially compatible with BMPCC 4K, Sony FX3, A7S3, A7R5, ZV-E1, ZV-E10, and Canon R7. Run/Stop is available for various systems with an optional USB-C Run/Stop Cable. The lens mapping control screen offers real-time focus distance info, while an internal USB-C powered battery provides up to 20 hours of continuous power. With five times the torque of its predecessor, the Nano II features USB-C input/output for chaining multiple motors from one power source. Compatible with DJI RS2, RS3 Pro, Nucleus M, and previous Nucleus Nano models, it ensures a seamless workflow. Note that advanced integration with some accessories requires additional hardware.
