The Wright Stuff T-Grip Rocker Knife is designed with an innovative new handle that enables people with even the weakest grips to eat independently. This adapted knife requires less strength and dexterity than regular knives for cutting food. The T-Grip Rocker Knife is intended to be used with a back-and-forth rocking motion, not slicing. Using an overhand or underhand grip, simply apply gentle pressure to the handle with your whole hand then simply rock back and forth. The 4.5-inch stainless steel single-edge curved blade can be sharpened to the user's preference like any knife. The creative T-shaped handle is easy to hold for users who have limited hand control or grasp due to arthritis, hand tremors, Parkinson's, or dexterity issues. The blade is made from stainless steel and is attached to a horizontal rubber handle. The blade is designed with smooth edges to prevent any accidental cuts and can be sharpened like any other kitchen knife. The unique handle provides a mechanical advantage so that pressure is applied from directly above the object to be cut, therefore less strength and dexterity are needed by the user. Users who have decreased hand strength, or who have difficulty cutting food with a standard knife will find the T-Grip Rocker Knife helpful for increasing dining independence.
