- Preparing your Time Lock Safe 1.Open the safe with the keys provided. Remove emergency lock cover (panel cover), then insert the emergency key, to a quarter turn anticlockwise, keep it turned and turn the knob clockwise to open the door. 2.Insert the batteries in the safe slot (internal panel). 3.Reset the safe code by pressing the button inside the battery slot, dial the new code on the keypad outside (3 to 8 numbers) and confirm it by pressing #. Setting up the timer 4.Press the round button for 2 seconds to activate the timer.5.Turn anti-clockwise to disable the sound. 6.Press again the knob to set up the timer. 7.Turn clockwise to setup the countdown. 8.Rotate the knob to increase or decrease the day (DD). 9.Push the knob to move to the hour (HR) and minute (MN). 10.The countdown will start after 20 seconds from your last digitation or if you keep the knob pressed for 2 seconds. 11.At the end of the countdown, it will be possible to open the safe by dialling the correct code, followed by the letter #. 12.If you wish to restart the countdown after you have used the safe and you do not with to change the countdown time, you must press the knob for 2 seconds, this will activate the timer, then, press it again for 2 seconds to activate the countdown. Key Entry The key will work anytime regardless of the status of the time lock. This is by design to allow access should the need arise. Do not lock the keys inside of the safe, give them to a relative or a friend, you will need them if the batteries of the safe run low or if you mis-program the safe. General Information Replace the batteries once a year.
