The V79 is a True RMS full featured digital multimeter as well as a thermometer. This is an auto ranging meter that will give a reading when you plug it in at any time. Features a 3 3/4 digit display that reads 3999, giving you a much higher accuracy than a meter with a reading at 1999 only. The backlight on the LCD provides convenience when operating in the dark and the auto power off feature helps preserve the battery. Includes a pair of test leads and a set of thermocouples. The V79 is powered by a 9 V battery (included). You can use this meter to measure AC/DC voltage and current, resistance, capacitance, frequency and temperature both in Fahrenheit and Celsius.
