This 13-Gallon touchfree trash can is a perfect trash container. With its intelligent capabilities and sophisticated design, this garbage can makes an ideal upgrade for any kitchen decor. With the equipped infrared technology, this kitchen bin helps keep cooking and dining areas clean and smelling fresh. 6" above the infrared panel, the lid will open automatically Press the manual button OPEN on the control panel, the lid will open all the time, press CLOSE, then it will close. ATTENTION: We only sell the trash can. Powered by 4 D size batteries( not included). Trash can doesn't need an ac adaptor. How it Works The touch free kitchen trash can uses patented, invisible, and harmless infrared technology. Simply place your hand or debris about six inches away from the infrared sensor near the lid. It will open instantly when you approach and will close automatically in three seconds after debris has been released and your hand moves away. The lid will remain open if debris or your hand is within the 6-inch range of the infrared sensor. There are two buttons on the front to open and close the lid manually, and a easy to reach on/off switch on the back of the trash can.
