This version is for classical (wide neck) guitars only, that have a neck width MORE than 1 7/8”. Please measure your guitar neck before ordering. Do not order this item if you do not have a classical guitar. This unit does not work on standard neck widths of 1 7/8" and thinner, 12-string or fractional size guitars. ". Classical guitars normally have a mixture of nylon and steel strings. As soon as the ChordBuddy is properly attached to your acoustic classical guitar, you will be able to make music. Within a few weeks, you’ll begin removing some of the tabs and making the chords on your own. In two months, you’ll be able to play the guitar with no ChordBuddy at all! Each package includes the ChordBuddy as well as instructions on how to properly attach the device to your electric or acoustic guitar. The lesson plan and companion downloadable App will have you playing popular songs in no time. The app can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store. The ChordBuddy Songbook includes some great songs and shows you how to play them with and without the ChordBuddy. This version of the ChordBuddy ONLY works on classical, wide-neck style guitars. It will not work on a left handed guitar. It also does not work on 12-string or half-sized (children’s) guitars. The color-coded ChordBuddy songbook includes many hit songs from the past and present including hits from country, bluegrass, gospel and rock-n-roll genres. Measure across the neck of your guitar at the nut (the white bar between where your fingers are placed and the tuning knobs). If the width is more than 1 7/8″, you have a classical guitar. If you strum with your right hand and the biggest string is on the top; it is a right handed guitar. If you strum with your left hand and the biggest string is on the top; it is a left handed guitar. The DVD has been replaced by the app.

This version is for CLASSICAL (wide neck) guitars only. This unit DOES NOT WORK on standard guitars with neck widths of 1 7/8" and thinner, 12-string or fractional/kids size guitars. PLEASE MEASURE YOUR GUITAR NECK before ordering. Measure across the neck of your guitar at the nut (the white bar between where your fingers are placed and the tuning knobs). If the width is more than 1 7/8″, you have a classical guitar. from the nut to the 3rd fret should be approximately 4″. If these two measurements are as noted, the ChordBuddy should work just fine. This is very important to ensure proper fit. Included lesson plan and songbook will have you playing popular songs in no time. A downloadable app is also available with this system.
