Features: Thread tapping bit features spiral point, plug chamfer and right hand thread cutting. Straight groove taps can remove chips downward, with clear threads and sharp cutting edges, ensuring fast and accurate tapping. The grooves on the tap facilitate the removal of chips and debris from the hole.
Applications: Screw tap can be used for drilling and tapping of stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron, alloy steel, ordinary steel, non-ferrous metals, hard plastics, etc. Suitable for drilling machines, tapping machines, CNC machine tools and milling machines. Use with tapping oil to improve processing accuracy and reduce the probability of breakage.
Tips: It is recommended to use a machine tap with a tap chuck with overload protection function. The tapping angle should be 90 degrees vertical and stable, and the tapping depth should not exceed 1.5 times the tap diameter.
