[2025 Coulomb Tech Meter] In 2025, we updated the meter with the latest coulomb technology to ensure its accuracy within a 5% margin of error. The screen digitally displays the discharging current and voltage in the discharge state, the remaining battery capacity and voltage in standby mode, and the charging current and voltage in the charging state. Unlike a voltage-based meter, it has a 30-40% guesswork , and only shows battery voltage with level bars.
[Low Temp Cut-Off Protection & Grade A+ Cells] When the temperature drops to 23℉~41℉, these lithium batteries will stop charging, and at -13℉~5℉, they will stop discharging. This low-temperature cut-off protection helps maintain LiFePO4 battery health. Plus, the Grade A+ cells inside are UL tested and certified, ensuring safe and reliable performance.
[Series & Parallel Connections for Powerful Backup Power] Dr.Prepare 12V 100Ah lithium battery with monitor screen supports both series and parallel configurations. Easily build a 24V, 36V, or 48V battery bank with series wiring, or expand your capacity to 12V 200Ah, 300Ah, or 400Ah through parallel connections. For larger setups, you can link up to 16 batteries in series and parallel to create a powerful 20.48 kWh home backup system—ideal for power outages or hurricane season.
[Trolling Motor, Solar RV, Home Backup] When using the battery with a trolling motor, we highly recommend installing a 60A–100A circuit breaker between the battery and your device to prevent overdischarging. 60A circuit breaker sold separately in the Dr.Prepare Store. These LiFePO4 batteries are also perfect for RV solar setups, off-grid camping, and home backup power during outages or hurricane season.
[Charging & Discharging Tips] The optimal charging current is 20A (max 50A). For safe and efficient charging, use a compatible AC-to-DC LiFePO4 battery charger or a solar panel system with a charge controller. Do not use other brand general-purpose chargers to avoid potential damage. Each battery must be fully charged separately before in series. After a full discharge at 100A, avoid immediate recharging at 50A, as it may trigger the high-temperature charging protection.
[Important Reminders] 1. It's an energy storage battery, not a car battery, starting battery or golf cart battery. 2. Ensure the battery terminals are securely fastened. Loose terminals can lead to heat accumulation and potential battery damage. 3. Optimal charging involves a 20A current for our lithium battery. While the maximum charging current stands at 50A, exceeding this limit can result in a shortened battery lifespan.
