It is equipped with two power tubes, which enable it to transmit consistently at a relatively high output power across the frequency range it covers. Most radios available in the market are typically 5 watts or 8 watts. Having more watts translates to a greater communication range.
3️⃣[The latest High-Tech Features]: In addition to ham radio basic functions, this radio stands out from others due to its wide range of high-tech features: It is the first radio to support phone programming from TIDRADIO, with updatable firmware, Version Switch, wireless programming, connect on to repeaters, DTMF function, MIC gain, Dual Band, Dual Watch, NOAA Weather Channel, Disply Sync,199 channels and a 1.77 inch LCD color screen, etc.
4️⃣[Program on Phone]: Ditch the complex programming software,cables and driver. The following tasks can be done easily in Odmaster App like Frequency editing, Nearby repeater Search&Import, saving,caching and sharing Radio Configurations, and even socializing with other radio users. What’s more, you can program the radio without needing cellular data as long as you save the configuration in advance. There are three options for programming TD-H8:1) Odmaster(App and Website) 2) CHIRP 3)CPS programming software.
