As seller of this product, I'm a blind person and only a blind person fully understands the issues we face every day. I only use, recommend and sell Ambutech products.
The ball is 2-Inches in diameter and weighs only 2.5 ounces. It is designed to perform smooth and easy with less friction than most other cane tips.
This cane tip has a unique roller shield that helps protect the inner steel (not plastic) bearings. It rolls side to side. It does not roll in any direction. It’s designed to be used with the constant ground contact method.
[WARNING] To be used only on a hook style mobility cane for the blind or visually impaired. Do not use it on a support cane, for balancing or a crutch. Will fit most all canes that accommodate a hook style, 3/8” system. This is a cane tip only, not a cane.
Made in Canada, U.S. Seller. For optimal use, we strongly recommend that individuals who are blind or visually impaired seek guidance from a certified Orientation and Mobility (O&M) instructor. Makes a wonderful gift.
