MULTI PURPOSE BENCH VISE: The Yost BV-6 bench vise is an essential home workshop accessory. Made from 30,000 psi iron castings, a durable scratch resistant blue powder coating design, and a capable 6 inch jaw width this will meet the needs of any home diy workshop looking to clamp down some metal, woodwork, pipe, tubing, plastic or similar.
TECHNICAL SPECS: Jaw Width 6"; Jaw Opening 4.6"; Thread Depth 3" ; Polished 2.6" x 2.75" steel anvil ; Replaceable serrated steel jaw pads ; 120 degree Swivel base has 3 mounting holes.
SWIVEL BASE: 120°degree swivel base featuring 2 lockdowns, allowing you to adjust the direction of the jaws. Further to this serrated grooved jaws provide an excellent vise grip.
HOW TO USE: Make sure vise is securely mounted to the workbench and the swivel base lock is secure. Open the vise by turning the vise handle counterclockwise. Place item between the serrated jaws. Close the vise by turning the vise handle clockwise until the item is snug in the serrated jaws, continue to tighten until you can no longer move item. Don't over tighten as this may damage item and or the vise. When finished working on the item, turn screw handle counterclockwise to release the item.

The Yost Vises BV-6 6" bench vise is an all-purpose bench vise. A staple for any home workshop, no matter what your job is. Built for durability and dependability, this vise is constructed from 30, 000 PSI cast iron. The replaceable serrated jaws will prevent objects from moving around once you have clamped them in place. A large anvil on the back of the vise is perfect for forming and shaping metal pieces. The anvil is machined to provide a smooth work surface. The 120 degree swivel base allows this vise to be positioned in to clamp parts with ease. The dual lockdowns on the vise are designed to keep the vise in place once in position. The acme threaded main screw provides smooth operation.
