The steel-reinforced belt drive system and 7Ft sectional rail with a soft-start and soft-stop function to reduce wear and tear on the motor and mechanical parts. Backup battery [model: ba-100 - sold separately] with a built-in LED light keeps garage door opener functional in the event of a power outage. You can also use your in-car garage door remote to control this garage door opener. For added security, the AT-1622BK includes rolling code technology that generates a unique code for every remote activation. This encrypted code is different from the previous one which prevents your neighbour accidently opening your garage door when using their remotes. The included keypad enables a wireless keyless entry system, which opens your garage door with a code that you program directly to the unit. Automatic timer closer prevents you from leaving the door open for an Extended period of time. Do-it-yourself friendly, numeric display on head units guides you through all programming steps.
