Set your target height, lock the stop collar to repeat the setting, and use the release mechanism to drop the weight vertically onto the striker.The rugged base/anvil keeps panels flat while clamping screws hold the specimen and center the impact point. A quick-lock striker holder accepts common interchangeable impact noses (flat, hemispherical, conical) used in Gardner/ASTM D2794-style methods, allowing you to match tip geometry to your standard or application.Designed for daily QC and R&D, the tester delivers consistent, easy-to-interpret results—visible dents, cracks, or coating failures—across metal panels, plastics, and other rigid substrates.
